Refund and Cancellation Policy

Who This Policy Applies To

The AI Psychology Summit is a professional CPD event. Tickets are sold on a business-to-business basis to those purchasing for purposes relating to their trade, business or profession, including continuing professional development and professional training. You will be asked to confirm this at checkout.

Our Refund Policy

More than 30 days before the Event

You may cancel your booking and receive a refund of the ticket price less a 25% administration charge. The 25% reflects the staff time, payment-processor fees, and operational commitments tied to your booking from the point of purchase.

30 days or less before the Event

No refund will be issued. You will retain full access to the session recordings via the attendee portal for 7 days from the Event date, so your ticket keeps its full value as on-demand CPD.

Non-attendance

If you hold a valid ticket but do not attend the Event on the day, no refund will be issued. You will still receive access to session recordings via the attendee portal.

Ticket Transfers

You may transfer your ticket to a colleague free of charge up to 48 hours before the Event begins. The transfer moves all entitlements (live attendance, the CPD certificate, and 7 days of recording access) to the new ticket holder; the original ticket holder loses access. To request a transfer, please email info@aipsychology.co.uk with the new attendee's full name and email address.

The transfer right gives your ticket continued value even after the 30-day refund cut-off, provided you can find a colleague to take your place.

If We Cancel or Postpone the Event

Cancellation by us

If we cancel the Event for any reason, including circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g. third-party platform failure, force majeure), you will receive a full refund regardless of when the cancellation occurs. The limitation of liability in Section 11 of our Terms and Conditions caps damages but does not extinguish this refund right.

Postponement

If we postpone the Event to a new date, your ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a full refund within 14 days of being notified of the new date.

Changes to the Programme

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the Event programme, including changes to speakers, session topics, or timings. Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund, provided the Event remains substantially as described.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email info@aipsychology.co.uk with:

  • Your name
  • The email address used for your booking
  • Your reason for cancellation (optional, but helpful)

We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method (via Stripe).
